Known as "ancient massage," in Thailand, Thai Yoga Bodywork has deep roots in the Ayurvedic medical tradition of India. It is a practice of fullness, and awakens our bodies, minds and hearts to our own true Health.

Practiced clothed on a mat on the floor, we discover new ways to move that are fully supported by the Earth. Kristin utilizes many techniques in her approach, bringing particular attention to meridians and to joints, having found this is the most effective way to expand range of motion and develop a flexibility that directly translates to the movements of everyday life.

Both practitioner and client benefit from Thai work. Each session is a movement meditation like yoga, tai chi, or dance. Alignment, body mechanics, sensing, intention and rhythm are all essential. Rhythm is so vital to our well-being, something we all know well in our hearts and breath, in the sun and moon, something we experience everyday.
